Just wanted to let you all know how I got on in the Flora Women’s Mini Marathon, held in Dublin Monday June 4th.
It was a fantastic day, even though the rain stared just as we arrived in Dublin, but it cleared up and we had no rain during the marathon. There were thousands of women all running for worthy causes, and it was a really enjoyable event. We raised just over €2,400 euro for the association.
I’d like to thank our chairman Jimmy and his Family for collecting sponsorship in Sligo, and all my friends and family who sponsored me and helped collect Sponsorship.

Also, I would like to mention my Sister Deirdre Faragher, who took part to raise funds for the Beaumont Hospital, and our friend Geraldine Boylan, for the Meningitis Trust.

Finally I would like to thank Jako Sports in Sligo for their generous discount on the T-shirt printing, so thanks Nick, Fiona, Barbara, Andrew, Karl and Gina.
